Thoughts…

With Dyalessia Friends book one wrapped up earlier in the week, I put 2k words into book two of Rain’s trilogy. So, I ended my writing for Friday and for the week with about 2,300 words done. Now I need another eleven weeks to write the other 50,000+.

I’ve also been doing short scenes for something I have no idea what I’m going to do with, but this character won’t leave me alone, so it turns out I’m writing a superhero book. So far, I’ve written two scenes. One is 500 words, and the other is 600 words. Maybe I’ll try to use these to bring in people for my Patreon account, or maybe I’ll save them and turn them into a book.

I don’t know, but so far these scenes keep coming to me.

Patreon

Having thought about it on and off for a while, I created myself a Patreon page tonight to try to bring in an extra bit of income to help fund some of the other parts of writing my novels which I haven’t been able to do so far.

Anyhow, I’ve added a link to the Patreon page under my link drop down menu, and the same link can be found: Patreon.

I’m at the point in this next book where I’m wrapping up the few scenes I have left, and my editor/reader has gone through most of the book to fix my mistakes. My plan is still to release it over the weekend.

My usual two week update…

I’m moving along on this new book in Dyalessia Games. With the writing I’ve finished yesterday, (Friday), I hit my 29k out of 50k word count. Since I didn’t plan on releasing this book until mid-October, I haven’t fallen behind on hitting my goal.

After this book is wrapped up, my plan is to work on book two of Rain’s trilogy, which will finish off the year, or will be a book I’ll release early in January.

I’m also going to make a boxed set for the first three books of Bastet’s Daughters, which will be published early in October.

Update on current book.

On Friday I hit 18,000 words in the new book set in the world of Dyalessia Games. Technically this is book four in the series, but I’m thinking I might make these new novels a seperate series since I have plans to write more about the Alexandria, Bess, and Melody.

Anyhow, I’m still on target to have this new book finished in October. With the new words I plan to put towards it this week, I’ll hit the halfway point, or be close to the halfway point.

Createspace…

With the changes taking place with Createspace, I’m changing the covers and updating my paperbacks since Amazon is closing down Createspace. Over the rest of this week, I’ll finish the cover updates. Once the books go live again, I’ll update the buy links for the paperbacks here on my web page.

Weekly update…

So, I’m working on a book four for Dyalessia Games since Kitty from Melody’s and Sarah’s book decided she wanted to return. Anyhow, at the moment I’m about 7,000 words into my usual 50,000+. My goal is to finish this book around the middle of October. I don’t see any reason why I’ll not hit my target date, but things may happen.

After this book, I might be able to squeeze one more out before the end of the year, but if not then the book will come out early January. As far as I know at this point, this will be book two of Rain’s first trilogy.

Once 2019 begins, I’ll know more about my plans for the five books I hope to release in the new year.

Rainy Days Book One and…

July has been a busy month, so I slipped my mind to post my two week updates on how my current book is going. Since I have time this weekend, here is the update post. Having reached 38k towards the 50k word count I tend to stick with for each of my books, I should have this new one done in about three weeks.

I also added new links to the paperback versions of my books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Since I combined the first three books of Dyalessia Games into one E-book, I’ve also made a new header at the top of my web page for boxed sets.

Anyhow, I’ll be back with another book update in about two weeks. I might also have my cover for Rainy Day’s by then. If I do, I’ll post it in the first section for the new trilogy.
