July 26th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 4,374 known cases and 283 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 189 new cases and 4 new deaths. This includes the totals from last Sunday till this one. The news updated early.

This week has been rough. I’ve felt horrible all week. My incision, kidneys, and other body parts are aching. I managed to get my words done, but it took everything I had.

Book news. I finished Cleo’s new 10k short story. This week I added 4,400 words to it. I’ve self edited, printed, and gave to my reader. This short will be sent to the editor in August. Monday I return to Crimson Rose. May’s excited about it. Grins.

After thinking about my mailing list, I decided to change it to monthly. Finding a topic each week turned into a struggle. So, my plan is to send an update each time I have a new release, which means the newsletter should go out on the second week of the month.

I uploaded my twenty-seventh writing video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I plan to upload another clip for Sword Art Online’s newest game.

Gaming news. More Sword Art Online. So much of it. I’m enjoying it, but the gathering quests are annoying. I’ve put 100 hours into it so far. I still have two chapters to go, according to the achievements. Plus a ton of side quests/monsters to fight. There’s a lot to do in this game!

No new work on my puzzle.

Virus update. We’ve reached 4,185 known cases and 279 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 221 new cases and 2 new deaths. I don’t have the updates for Sunday, so I’ll include them next week.

Book news. I’m working on Cleo’s new 10k short story. This week I added 5,600 words to it. So, I overwrote it by 600. I’ll finish it this coming week.

I uploaded my twenty-sixth writing video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I plan to upload one for Sword Art Online’s newest game.

Gaming news. Sword Art Online. So much of it. I’m enjoying it, but the gathering quests are annoying. Finding thirty stones is boring. Grins. Otherwise, interesting story. There’s a lot to do in this game, which is nice. I took a new picture for my dragon puzzle and posted it on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,964 known cases and 277 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 220 new cases and 5 new deaths. I don’t have the updates for Sunday, so I’ll include them next week.

Book news. I’m publishing the third 20k short for Crimson Rose tonight. I’ve finished Ellyville’s third book, self edited it, gave to reader, and sent to an editor. I didn’t reach the 40k goal I wanted, but I’m off by 300 words. Sigh. I finished the short story for my mailing list, but it came out to be 4k words instead of the 5k I wanted. It’s also been self edited, gave to reader, and an editor. I added Bastet’s Daughters: Acinonyx to the order, which means this story will be improved.

Monday I plan to return to Cleo’s story and work on her 10k short. I might also add 500 words to Crimson Rose’s fourth short story. If not, I’ll work on it in July and August. When these are done, my stories for September and October will be done.

I’ll figure out what I want to do next since I can’t go four months without writing something.

I uploaded my twenty-fifth video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long.

Gaming news. I played Sims 4 all day yesterday. Burned out on it again. Sword Art arrived today, so I’m installing it. Ubisoft’s leaks came out before the conference, so we know the release dates for Watchdogs Legion and Far Cry 6. I’m still working on the dragon puzzle. I need to take new pictures and post them on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

July 5th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,744 known cases and 273 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 227 new cases and 4 new deaths. I don’t have the updates for Sunday, so I’ll include them next week.

Book news. I have a week left of writing to finish the third book for Ellyville. I’ve written 5,440 words to it this week. I overwrote my count by 440. Also, I’ve started a 5k free short story for my mailing list. It’s set in my Bastet’s Daughters setting. I plan to expand this setting more over the coming years, having finished most of the Dyalessia Games/Friends books. I plan to write three more, but after this I’m moving on from them. Later tonight I’m republishing Samantha’s short story for Bastet’s Daughters and Ellyville’s second book. Both have been sent to a paid editor and improved.

Tenses and redundant passages. Those are my bane. Every story needs tenses fixed. I’m trying to learn how to fix them during my self edits, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to. Sigh. Still, if this is what the editor needs to fix, it’s not a huge undertaking. Grins. The redundant passages are something I’ve improved on, according to my current editor. She’s seen my older stories and my new ones and commented on how different they are.

I uploaded my twenty-fourth video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long.

Gaming news. Diablo 3 until Sword Art comes out this week. The dragon puzzle is closer to being completed. I need to take new pictures and post them on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
