Mailing List.

It’s been something I’ve debated about for a while, but I decided it was time. So, I started a mailing list. I plan to send a new email on Sundays, for a while. It’s the same day I upload my YouTube video and post my writing status updates. This means I can include those in the email.

I’m not going to be someone who has the mailing list pop up. If you wish to sign up, I created a mailing list link in my links section. (I find the pop up to be annoying, so I decided I didn’t want it on my web page.) I’ll post the link when I write my update status and in my books, once I update the links in the back.

However, the link is: Mailing List.

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,517 known cases and 269 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 179 new cases and 10 new deaths. I don’t have the updates for Sunday, so I’ll include them next week.

Book news. I’m working on the third book for Ellyville. I’ve written 4,970 words in it this week. Thursday I was feeling run down, so it took everything I had to write. This weekend, my throat is sore and I can feel my ears are aching. So, I’m thinking I have another upper respiratory infection. It happens throughout the year. In a day or two, the editor is sending me the suggestions for story three of Crimson Rose, Samantha’s short story I wrote three years ago, and Ellyville’s second book. I’ll get through Rose’s edits before my release in July while working on updating those older stories when I have the time.

I uploaded my twenty-third video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more.

Gaming news. Finished Last of Us 2. Played through the Western theme for Borderlands 3 new download content with Amara. Might do it with Flak. Diablo 3 runs again. Still using the greater rift tokens I’ve collected. My dragon puzzle is closer to being completed. Pictures can be found on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Reading for the week:

1) Sun Broken by Yasmine Galenorn is book eleven of her Wild Hunt series.

2) A Date with Death by Mia Archer.

3) Vampire’s Don’t Sparkle! By Mia Archer.

P.S. I’ve posted the covers on Pinterest.

June 21st, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,338 known cases and 259 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 127 new cases and 11 new deaths. Governor Cuomo has stopped his briefings after doing them for 111 days. We’ll see how New York comes out of this as places stay open and downstate continues their opening.

Book news. I’m working on the third book for Ellyville. I’ve written 5,283 words in it this week. This means I overwrote my word count by 283. I didn’t have any struggles getting my words done this week, which was nice. So far, I’ve written 24,242 words into the 40,000 to 50,000 I’d like it to have. I have about fifteen days left before I reach my word count goal. Since I finished the paid edits for the first book of Ellyville, I’m republishing it tonight.

I uploaded my twenty-second video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more.

Gaming news. Last of Us 2 arrived today. I’m going to play it tonight, after I get groceries. My dragon puzzle is coming along. I worked on it all week. Smiles. Pictures can be found on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

June 14th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,211 known cases and 248 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 119 new cases and 12 new deaths. Numbers fell this week, so woot. Not sure if they’ll stay this way.

Book news. I’m working on the third book for Ellyville. I’ve written 5,291 words in it this week. This means I overwrote my word count by 291. I did better last week, but this week was hard. I skipped writing on Friday, but hit my 1k words on Saturday when I felt better. So far, I’ve written 18,959 words into the 40,000 to 50,000 I’d like it to have.

I’ve received the paid editor suggestions for book one of Ellyville. I plan to go through them, doing three chapters a day. It’ll take me six days to update this older story. I also revised my first book for Bastet’s Daughters. I’m republishing it tonight.

I uploaded my twenty-first video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more.

Gaming news. Warcraft. Shaman still, but she’s max level and I’m not going to do the gear thread mill. So, once I finish off her quests, I’ll shelve her for a while. Still working on my dragon puzzle. Last of Us 2 comes out this week, so I might lose myself in it.

Reading for the week:

1) A Most Unlikely Hero 7 by Brandon Varnell is book seven of his A Most Unlikely Hero series.

2) Different Worlds by Lily Seabrooke.

3) Tablecloth Troubles by Juliette Harper is a short story in her Jinx Hamilton series.

4) Amy’s Rest by S R Silcox.

P.S. I’ve started posting the covers on Pinterest.

June 7th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 3,092 known cases and 236 dead, according to updates posted today. This means since last week we’ve had 240 new cases and 18 new deaths.

Book news. I’m working on the third book for Ellyville. I’ve written 5,583 words in it this week. This means I overwrote my word count by 500. Awesome. So far, I’ve written 13,668 words into the 40,000 to 50,000 I’d like it to have. The paid editor I’m using has book one and two of Ellyville. She’s going to tighten them up. She also has my July release for Crimson Rose. And the 10k word Samantha Redding short I wrote about two years ago. I’ve been working on self editing/revision the first book of Bastet’s Daughters. I wrote this about two years ago, which means it needed to be improved. I cut about three to four thousand words out of it so far. I have fourteen pages left to finish.

I uploaded my twentieth video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more.

Gaming news. Still Warcraft. I try to play once a day. My Alliance shaman is in her 90’s. Almost leveled her to new content. The 100% exp boost Blizzard activated makes leveling quick. Also, worked on my dragon puzzle. Pictures are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Reading for the week:

1) Everything but the Girl by Saxon Bennet and Layce Gardner.

2) Odyssey by Erik Schubach is book three of his Tales from Olympus series.

4) Shattered Bonds by Faith Hunter is book thirteen in her Jane Yellowrock series.

5) Journey of a Betrayed Hero 2 by Brandon Varnell is book two of his Journey of Betrayed Hero series.

P.S. I dislike the new block editor WordPress changed to. It’s frustrating!
