October 27th…

Evening all.

It’s time for my weekly writing status. I didn’t write on Tuesday because it was massage day. Anyhow, I still added 4,100 words to book two of Ellyville. This superhero story is almost finished. I think I’ll work on it for another two weeks to reach the 50k+ words I’d like it to have. So far, I’m at 37,000.

My other story is coming along. It’s still nice to write something new. I’ve worked on Dyalessia and World of Bastet’s Daughters for two and a half years. So, coming up with a new idea is refreshing. I didn’t hit my word goal for this story, but I’m not upset about it. I still need a cover made, and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this/when I’ll publish it. Anyhow, I added 1,700 words to this story.

As for gaming news. I’ve been absorbed with The Outer Worlds. It reminds me of Fallout, but with sci-fi. Still, I’m enjoying this game. This is also why my post is a day late.

Okay. This is everything I have to say this week. I can’t believe it’ll be November when I post my next update.

October 19th…

Another weekend means another writing update. This week I managed to over write book two of Ellyville. So, this next superhero book is coming along. I pushed out 5,200 words. At this time, this book is at 32,000 words out of the 50,000+ I’d like it to have. It should be finished in about four weeks. However, I don’t need it until December because I’m releasing Heather’s and Sasha’s book for Dyalessia Friends in November.

Once I finish Elly’s Tales book two, I plan on taking most of November and December off/slowing down until the new year. There’s to many holidays and family things happening for the rest of the year.

My other story, I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with because it’s not connected to Dyalessia or the World of Bastet’s Daughters. However, it’s nice to write something new. I’ve lived in Dyalessia or Bastet’s world since 2017, which means all my books have expanded those settings. So far, I’ve hit 11,000 words in this new story. I admit, I didn’t write my 500 words for it on Friday but during the week I added 2,400 words. I’m not upset about the missing 100 words.

I’m not sure if people noticed, but I’ve been posting more of images on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest of the things I’m baking or cooking. I figured I’d use my culinary degree for something. Grins.

Gaming news. I’m still playing Borderlands 3, but I’m tired of it now. It’s an okay game, but the replay value isn’t there for me. I’ve gone back to working on Diablo 3. I’m still trying to make my way to the 700th paragon levels.

However, The Outer Worlds comes out next week, so I might be playing this instead.

All right. I have nothing more to report for what I did throughout the week.

October 13th…

I added 4,900 words to my second story for Ellyville. This week was a first one in a while where I managed to write all week. I didn’t hit my word goal of 5k, but I was close. Feeling the aches and pains of the changes outside makes it hard to get my words done. I’m at 27,000 words and I’d like to be close to my usual 50,000 when finished, which means I have about four weeks left of writing to do.

I plan on uploading the cover for book two of Ellyville after posting this update since the cover artist finished it.

My other story is coming along. I still don’t have a word goal in mind, so when it feels done is when I’ll end it. However, I’ve written 8,800 words into it so far.

Hello October…

Another weekend, another writing update.

I hit my 4k word count on book two of Elly’s Tales: Ellyville. As I said last week, I didn’t plan on writing on Tuesday. Next week I’ll have half the book written. I also talked with the cover artist. So, things are progressing.

My other story is coming along, but I’m still debating what I want to do with it. Anyhow, it’s at 6k words with this weeks writing. I’m eager to see what the cover artist designs for this series.

Oh, tomorrow (Sunday) I plan on publishing the prequel book for Bastet’s Daughters/Rainy Days/Cleo & Petra. I’ll finish the paperback once the e-book is live.

All right, there’s not much else I have to say.
