Cleo and Petra, twin siblings, live in an orphanage in New York City. Their world changes during The Event when Petra is abducted from her bedroom inside the orphanage. Having her twin taken from her causes Cleo to agree to complete the tasks Bastet insists Cleo needs to finish for the Egyptian goddess if Cleo wants to learn who captured her sister before Cleo and Petra are together again.
Having returned to Earth from Bastet’s realm in the Lower World, Cleo sets off for her next task. Upon finding a farm, she meets Serissa. The last time the two saw each other, Cleo left the elf in London. Together, they complete what Bastet wanted from Cleo.
