September 20th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 5,565 known cases and 297 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 144 new cases and 1 new deaths. This included the totals from today.

Book news. I’m 11,000 words into the 40k to 50k I’d prefer Isabella’s, Cassidy’s, and David’s werewolf story for Bastet’s Daughters and Kira’s litRPG story.

If you want a free short story set in Bastet’s Daughters where Felia meets Bastet, I offer it if you join my mailing list.

I uploaded my thirty-fifth writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. I’m not sure what clip I’ll upload on Wednesday, but I think it’ll be another from Tell Me Why.

Gaming news. I’m playing Kingdoms of Amalur still. I returned the content for the Outer Worlds. It was an idiotic move to create content you can’t play unless you restart the game. Most players finished the game a year ago, but the company made it so you can’t return to the ship if you reached a certain point at the end. Annoyed me. It makes no sense to lock people from returning to their ship. The new Xbox goes on preorder on Tuesday! I’m excited!

I started a new dragon puzzle. I have the frame almost completed. I posted a new picture of it on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter.

Reading for the week. The cover images are posted on Pinterest.

September 13th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 5,421 known cases and 296 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 132 new cases and 1 new deaths. This included the totals from today.

Book news. I’m 9,000 words into the 40k to 50k I’d prefer Isabella’s, Cassidy’s, and David’s werewolf story for Bastet’s Daughters and Kira’s litRPG story. I republished the Event and Elly’s & Kitty’s story for Dyalessia Friends. The editor has the fourth short story for Crimson Rose, plus Alexandria’s and Christie’s first story for Dyalessia Games and Bastet’s Daughters: Beginnings. I’m sending her those two stories because they were the first ones I wrote and it’s time for them to be improved. The editor should return them in October.

If you want a free short story set in Bastet’s Daughters where Felia meets Bastet, I offer it if you join my mailing list.

I uploaded my thirty-fourth writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. I’m not sure what clip I’ll upload on Wednesday, but I think it’ll be another from Tell Me Why.

Gaming news. I finished chapter three of Tell My Why. The ending was okay. I was disappointed, but it finished the story the way I expected. I’m playing more of Kingdom of Amalur. The newest content for Borderlands 3 came out, but I didn’t enjoy it. It’s short and you explore a psycho’s brain to find out the reason he’s psycho. Meh. I plan to download the content for The Outer Worlds. I enjoyed this game, so I’m eager to play the new content.

Reading for the week. The cover images are posted on Pinterest. Between editing two books, writing, gaming, and life, I didn’t have time to read. Short list this week.

2) Moons Over My Maggie by Kate Danley is book eleven of her Maggie Mackay Magical Tracker series.

3) Witching Moon by Yasmine Galenorn is book twelve of her Wild Hunt series.

4) Hives & Heroism by Benjamin Medrano is book three of his Beesong Chronicles.

September 6th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 5,289 known cases and 295 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 89 new cases and three new deaths. This does not include the totals from today.

Book news. I’m publishing Cleo’s and Petra’s fifth short story tonight. The editor is working through the Event and Elly’s & Kitty’s story. It’s taking longer since those are older stories and they need more work on fixing my redundancy. Sigh. I knew this needed to happen, so I’m giving her the time she needs to finish them. As for writing new stories, I added 4,400 words to Isabella’s, Cassidy’s, and David’s werewolf story for Bastet’s Daughters and Kira’s litRPG story. My current word count for the werewolf story is 6,600 words. I’d prefer this story to have 40k to 50k words. LitRPG is 5,900. Same with the 40k to 50k words.

If you want a free short story set in Bastet’s Daughters where Felia meets Bastet, I offer it if you join my mailing list.

I uploaded my thirtieth-third writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. I’ll plan to upload another clip from Tell Me Why.

Gaming news. I finished chapter two of Tell My Why. Now, I wait until September 10th for the last chapter. Kingdom of Amalur is on it’s way. It’ll arrive Tuesday. I’ve been playing Warcraft, working on getting my characters to max level before the expansion in October. Grins.

August 30th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 5,202 known cases and 292 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 125 new cases and three new deaths. This includes the totals from today.

Book news. Added 4,500 words to Isabella’s, Cassidy’s, and David’s werewolf story for Bastet’s Daughters and Kira’s litRPG story. My current word count for the werewolf story is 4,700 words. I’d prefer this story to have 40k to 50k words. LitRPG is 3,600. Same with the 40k to 50k words.

If you want a free short story set in Bastet’s Daughters where Felia meets Bastet, I offer it if you join my mailing list.

I uploaded my thirtieth-second writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. I’m thinking I’ll upload a clip from Tell Me Why.

Gaming news. I stopped play Pathfinder: Kingmaker until they fix the memory leak and other bugs. So many on the console. Tell Me Why’s first chapter came out, and the next comes out on September 2nd. Interesting game. A lot of people are upset with this game because a character is transgender. Sigh. Kingdom of Amalur comes out next week. I enjoyed this when it was on the 360.

I haven’t started a new dragon puzzle. Haven’t had the time.

Reading for the week. The cover images are posted on Pinterest. I delved into my books this week, so this is a long list!

August 23rd, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 5,077 known cases and 289 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 145 new cases and no new deaths. This includes the totals from today.

Book news. I finished the fourth story for Crimson Rose. Self edited. Gave to reader. I wait until September to send to an editor. This was my last scheduled story for the year. However, I’m working on a werewolf story for Bastet’s Daughters and a litRPG type of story. I’m not sure where the RPG story is going, but the character wouldn’t leave me alone. So, she’s getting her own stories. Word count this week 5,516. Earlier in the week it was to finish Crimson Rose, but I have 1,800 words done into the werewolf story, which I’d prefer to be about 40k to 50k. The RPG story has 1,844 of the 40k to 50k.

If you want a free short story, I’ll offer it if you join my newsletter.

I uploaded my thirtieth-first writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. I’m not sure what my Wednesday video game clip will be. Maybe Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Maybe something else. I’ll figure it out.

Gaming news. I’m Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Fun game. Loading screens are annoying. So many. I’m not sure how long I’ll have the patience for endless loading screens. Also, the game needs work for the console. Serious memory leak.

I haven’t started a new dragon puzzle. Haven’t had the time.

Reading for the week. The cover images are posted on Pinterest. I’m on the last book of the Dresden Files, which means I can delve into the books I’ve neglected for two weeks.

2) Changes by Jim Butcher is book twelve of his Dresden Files series.

3) Ghost Story by Jim Butcher is book thirteen of his Dresden Files series.

4) Cold Days by Jim Butcher is book fourteen of his Dresden Files series.

5) Skin Game by Jim Butcher is book fifteen of his Dresden Files series.

Word count…

I planned to write a story a month from Jan to Oct. Last year I learned how stressful it was to write during the holidays. So, I planned to slow down in Nov and Dec. Course, this was before the virus came. Anyhow, from Jan to my October release, I’ve written 196,500 words according to the spread sheet a person on Twitter started for us in January. Some of us still use the spread sheet.

August 16th, 2020…

Virus update. We’ve reached 4,932 known cases and 289 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 197 new cases and 1 new death. This includes the totals from today.

Book news. This week I added 5,424 words to the fourth story for Crimson Rose. I have four days left of writing before it’s finished. It was the first time in a while where I wrote all week, so I’m proud of doing so. Also, I created a Cast of Characters for my Bastet’s Daughters setting and posted it on my web page. It was six pages in Open Office! After I finish Crimson Rose’s fourth story, I’m starting a new series in Bastet’s Daughters. Kira won’t leave me alone, so I’m writing her RPG setting. This is another story I never planned, but I’m eager to see how it comes together.

If you want a free short story, I’ll offer it if you join my newsletter.

I uploaded my thirtieth writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I’ll upload a clip from Diablo 3. I reached an achievement this week.

Gaming news. I’m playing Diablo 3 until the Pathfinder RPG video game comes out for the console this week. I’ve waited for this game for a year, although it’s been on the PC.

I finished my dragon puzzle! Yay! I posted the images on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. I plan on starting a new dragon puzzle.
