It’s time for my two week update on my writing progress. With the amount of words I’ve done since my last post, I’ve hit 22k words out of the 50kish words I have as a goal for this book. Somehow along the way, I added the extra 2k words. So, at this point, I’m ahead of my writing goal.

Next week I should hit the mid-point of my new book, which means there will be five weeks left after next week to wrap this story up. By then it’ll be August, and time for one last book for the year.

I’ve already decided on what the next book will be. Here’s a teaser: The women of Dyalessia Games will return, and there will be a new story between two others who want part of their story told.

I don’t know where the time went but it seems as if I’ve spent two weeks working on my new book already. Last night I hit 10k words done out of the 50k total for my word count goal, which means I have about eight weeks before this new book is finished.

Also, I decided to talk about the music I write to for each book. So far, this book is all about Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet. Last book was written listening to Ozzy’s No More Tears.

Amazon was quick to put my book live. So, book three of Bastet’s Daughters can be found at: link. I’ve also revised my web site, putting all the info about the book in the area dedicated to book three.

After the run to the emergency room this week, my health issue is better but not gone. However, I managed to edit the parts of book three of Bastet’s Daughters I’ve written so far, and the edited pages have been sent to my beta reader. During the rest of this week, I plan to finish the last scene or two I didn’t get a chance to finish during my writing this week. Once those passages are edited and beta read, I’ll send the book to Amazon. I think everything should come together by the middle of the week.

I think I might spend the rest of the week and weekend in the hospital cause I have the feeling my kidney disease is relapsing. Gonna head to the ER tonight, and see what they say or try to convince them to take x-rays/etc.

With the way my writing is going, I’m on my deadline to finish writing book three of Bastet’s Daughters in about two weeks. I’ve posted the cover today since I have one now. However, I still have edits to do, and then I’ll give it to my reader to look through to see if she has any comments, or catches any mistakes.

I made some changes to my book titles on Amazon, clearly labeling the books if they’re book one, two, three, etc. Two of the books which weren’t being sold, or read much in Kindle Unlimited, had some activity after I made these changes.

Lesson learned!

Label your books in a clear manner.

This week I hit 25k words in book three of Bastet’s Daughters, which means I have another five weeks of writing before the book is finished. I’m on track to release the third book during the first week of June.

So, my current, and third book, for Bastet’s Daughters is coming along. When I get back to writing tomorrow, I’ll hit my 10k words. By the end of the week, I should be at 15k already.

I also want to add, I haven’t given up on Dyalessia Games. The three women, and their loves, may return for another set of trilogy of novels. Although if they do return, it won’t be until later this year, or some time next year.
