Having reached about 41,000 words in my second book in Bastet’s Daughters, I should have the book completed in about two weeks. I’ve posted the new cover on my Facebook page, on Twitter, and here on my web site.
New Years 2017
It’s New Years Eve since it’s past midnight here.
I’d like to thank everyone who helped with getting my novels put together in 2017. I’d like to give thanks to everyone who read my novels, and I hope those readers stick with me through 2018.
My goal for the year is to finish my two trilogies and write and publish another two books. Plus maybe a few short stories.
Anyhow, have a good celebration and let’s ring in 2018!
Christmas.
Hope ya’ll have a good Christmas.
Yule.
Happy Yule all. It is finally officially winter. Smiles.
Halfway…
Tonight I hit the halfway point on book two of Bastet’s Daughters. Reaching the halfway point means I’m on track to finishing the book in about five weeks.
Huh. It’s also been a little over a year ago when I first started working on book one of Dyalessia Games.
One holiday over.
So Thanksgiving is over. Christmas is next. Even with the holiday, I managed to hit my mark of having 10,000 words written, which I reached with tonight’s writing. Bastet’s Daughters book two is one step closer to being finished and I’m on track to have it done early next year.
Book is live.
Short post to say I published book two last night and it went live while I was asleep.
Dyalessia Games Book Two
Bess’s and Mira’s book is done, edited, and sent off to the reader for one last look through. I plan to release it on Sunday night/Monday morning before I go to sleep.
This book was a tough book for me to write. A lot of the time I struggled with some of the scenes with the emotions, thoughts, and memories I pulled on to write some of the events in this book.
It will be nice to take a break from the woman of Dyalessia Games again and return to my urban romance series by writing book two of Bastet’s Daughters. I don’t have a release date for this new book in Bastet’s Daughters beyond it will be within the first few months of next year.
Samhain/Halloween.
It’s that time of the year again, my favorite holiday. Being able to dress up when I was a kid was something I looked forward too. Now, I enjoy seeing the costumes kids and others dress up as when they come Trick or Treating.
That word.
It seems I love the word that. Spent the day editing my books again, removing most of the that’s. Hopefully the changes make my books better to read.
Bess’s and Mira’s story is getting closer to being finished. I have about 16,000 words left on it.
