January 16th, 2022…

Book news. The editor returned Geneva’s second 10k short story. I’ll go through the suggestions this week and not worry about it until February. I’ve contacted the cover artist and once I find the images I want, I’ll send them to her to finish it. I’ve written 2,700ish words into Crimson Rose’s eighth 20k short story. And about the same towards the first story of Feyville. I don’t know how long this story will be, but I have a feeling it’ll be 40k to 50k.

I’ve written 6,100ish towards the 230,000 goal for the year.

Health news. I threw my back out on Tuesday. It was healing until yesterday when I bent over and injured it again. It’s getting better, but it’ll take time to fix itself. It took everything I had to sit and get my words done throughout the week.

The free short story where Felia meets Bastet is one I offer my web page. It was the story I gave to those on my mailing list, but I’ve decided I don’t want to do one.

YouTube videos when I have time in 2022. I plan on doing them throughout the week. TikTok will be the same. (I’ve been doing YouTube and TikTok late at night. It’s easier on me than doing them in the afternoon. I’m not rushing around/waiting for them to upload before dinner and leaving to do deliveries or work on my other businesses.)

Gaming news. No gaming. Busy.

January 9th, 2022…

Book news. I’m publishing the second story in the Town of Unknown today. The editor has Geneva’s second 10k short story. Since those two are done, I started my next stories. I added 1,100ish words into Crimson Rose’s eighth 20k short story. I’m working on a new series/setting since this character has been bothering me for months. I have 1,600ish words into it. I’m not sure the length of this series/setting, but my feeling is it’ll be my typical 40k to 50k one.

All right. I’ll set my 2022 writing goal for 230,000 words. So far I’ve added 2,800ish to the 230,000.

January 2nd, 2022…

With the holidays and celebrations over, I’m working on getting back to my schedule. Sunday is writing update, so here’s my end of the year one. I know it’s 2022, but I’m finishing my work from 2021. Grins.

Book news. I finished Geneva’s second 10k short story where she wanders Mars while learning how magic transformed the planet. Self-edited it. Printed to give to the reader. It’ll be sent to the editor for its February release this week. (I hope.) The second story of the Town of Unknown is coming on January 9th. On Monday I’ll start my third story for 2022.

I’ve wrote 231,289ish words towards my 280,000ish 2021 goal. The missing 50k would have been a longer story, which I didn’t write in 2021. I’m pleased with my word count without it. Next Sunday’s update I’ll return to posting my word count goal for 2022.

The free short story where Felia meets Bastet is one I offer my web page. It was the story I gave to those on my mailing list, but I’ve decided I don’t want to do one.

December 26th, 2021…

Book news. I’m 7,900 words into the 10,000 I prefer to have for my short stories. I should finish Geneva’s second one where she wanders Mars while learning how magic transformed the planet this early this week. I went through the suggestions for the Town of Unknown, which means it’s ready for its release on the second week of January.

I’ve written 228,400ish words towards my 280,000ish goal.

The free short story where Felia meets Bastet is one I offer my web page. It was the story I gave to those on my mailing list, but I’ve decided I don’t want to do one.

December 19th, 2021…

Book news. I’m 5,900 words into the 10,000 I prefer to have for my short stories. I should finish Geneva’s second one where she wanders Mars while learning how magic transformed the planet this week or early next one. The editor returned the suggestions for the Town of Unknown. I’ll work through them during the week/into the next one. I plan to publish this on the second week of January, so I have time.

I’ve written 226,400ish words towards my 280,000ish goal. (I’m not going to reach it, but I don’t mind. Last year I published two longer stories the first two months. I’m changing my schedule for 2022.)
