August 22nd, 2021…

Book news. I’m at 6,200 words into the 20k I plan for the seventh story of Crimson Rose. I plan to add 2,500 words during the week, or 500+ per day, so I should be about halfway through it by Friday.

I’ve written 168,460 words this year towards my 280,000ish goal.

August 15th, 2021…

Book news. I’ve sent Geneva’s 10k short story to the editor for it’s September release. I should receive part two of the Acinonyx later this month. As for writing, I’m 2,800 words into the 20k I plan for the seventh story of Crimson Rose.

I updated the cover of the Dyalessia Games trilogy. The cover artist finished the second trilogy and is working on the second one for Crimson Rose. Both collections will be published in November and December since I don’t plan on publishing anything new after October. This gives me time to work on my 2022 stories.

I’ve written 165,150 words this year towards my 280,000ish goal.

August 8th, 2021…

Book news. I’ve finished Geneva’s 10k short story for her first adventure on Mars. It’s been self edited and printed for the reader to look through. It’ll be sent to the editor this week.

I’m working on getting covers made for the box sets I hoped to publish in November and December. They should be stories four through six of Dyalessia Games and stories four through six of Crimson Rose. Plus, I wanted to update the Dyalessia Games trilogy with a new cover since the original covers were changed last year. I plan to bundle Cleo & Petra’s short stories into a collection, but not until next year.

I’ll start Crimson Rose’s seventh story this week, which is the last story I scheduled for the year.

I added the cover for Dragon Station under the Acinonyx since it should be my August release. It’s at the editor at this time.

Book news. I don’t have much to say for story news. Working on Geneva’s 10k short story for my September release. I’ve added 3,100 words to it and might finish it this week. I’m at 5,700ish words into it.

Vella goal: 10,230ish words. I plan to return to Gwen’s Vella story, but I’m not sure when.

Book news. The editor should send me the request for the second story of the Acinonyx today. She was busy with other things, so sending her the story was delayed. I’ve added 2,600 words of Geneva’s 10k short story set on Mars. I plan to do more this week, but I’m not doing my usual 1k since this won’t be published until September.

Book news. I’ve finished, self edited, and printed to give to the reader the second story of the Acinonyx. With this being my last longer story for the year, I’m taking my time working on the 10k short story and Crimson Rose’s 20k scheduled for September and October.

I’ve written 152,600ish words this year towards my 280,000ish goal.

Vella goal: 10,230ish words. I plan to return to Gwen’s episodes since I finished the second story of the Acinonyx. I’m not sure how fast I’ll get these done since Vella is a mess at this time. Sigh.

It’ll be in my mailing list for July and posted online later in the month/early August. I’m publishing the sixth 20k short story for Crimson Rose tonight.

There’s not much book news beyond this since I’ve been focused on finishing this one. I’m going to write tonight, although it’s Sunday. I’ll finish Gwen’s eight Vella episode and 1k words to the Acinonyx.
