Virus update. We’ve reached 62,748 known cases and 1,244 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 1,366 new cases and 18 deaths. This includes the totals from today.
Book news. I’ve reached 8,800 words into Crimson Rose’s sixth 20k short story. I should add another 4k to 5k this week, which means it’ll be close to being finished.
The editor returned the suggestions for Rainy’s first story. I wrote them in 2018 when I didn’t have the income (due to disability) and resources to hire an editor. For a year she’s helped me go through my older stories and improve them. These three are the last ones we have to do. She sent me the suggestions for book two and I plan to go through it during the week of the 10th through the 16th. Most of May will be spent finishing these three stories. Since I’ve had them edited, I raised the price of the e-book to $3.99 and the paperback for $11.99 to match the prices of my other edited 40k to 50k stories. I’ll do the same with the other two once they’re done.
I’ve written 93,100ish words this year towards my 280,000ish goal.
Vella goal: 3,200ish words. I’ve written two episodes. I plan to work on the third one this week.
The free short story where Felia meets Bastet is one I offer on my mailing list.
Gaming news. No gaming. Waiting for Resident Evil Village.
