December 1st…

It’s December? Where did all of November go? It feels as if the last month started not long ago, and now it’s over all ready?

Rainy Days: Drizzle, or book two, is moving along. I have about five weeks left of writing to hit my 55k goal. Last night I ended my writing week by hitting my 30k word count goal. I’m happy with this, and the book is coming together. Although I still have to write the two main plots I want to include in this second book.

Elly of Ellyville is also coming together. It took me time to think about certain scenes in this book, but now I have a better idea on where this book is heading. I hit 15k words in this story so far, but the one thing I’m still not sure about is what the ending word count will be. I guess, when the book feels done, this will be the ending word count.

All right, this is where I am with the two books I’m working on. I’ll be back next week with another update.

November 24th Update

The weekend is here, which means another update on where I am in the books I’m writing. Rainy Days book two is at 25,000 words out of the 55,000+ word goal I set for all my current books. I’m still on my goal to have this done by the end of the year or early in January.

Elly of Ellyville is coming along, but I’m still not sure about the length of this story. I guess it’ll be done when it feels like it should be. At the moment I’ve hit 13,000 words, and I still have a few ideas for what I want to include in this story.

This was my short update, so I’ll be back next week with another.

Updates…

With the current week of writing on the two books I’m working on, I ended the week with 19,000 words out of the 55,000+ word goal for Rainy Days book two. I also hit 10,000 words towards Elly of Ellyville. I’m still not sure what the end word count goal will be for this book, but I’d like to hit 55,000+ for this one.

I’ve also put together my schedule for 2019, which I plan to post on my web site once I post this update. For the last few hours I also changed all of my books, adding the current reading list to the books I published in 2017 and early 2018. I also fixed a few spelling errors which slipped through. The last change I made was putting a page at the end of each book listing my social media/web links, the same way I’ve did with Dyalessia Friends: Elly & Kitty.

Okay, this is my updated post for where things stand. I’ll be back next weekend with another update!

Another week of writing…

On Friday I finished my writing, having reached 13,700 words in book two of Rainy Days. I may hit 20k by the end of this up coming week, or I’ll be close to hitting this goal.

Elly of Ellyville is also coming along, and I ended the week with6 6,900 words. I’m not sure what my word count total on this will be since it wasn’t a book I planned on writing. It may hit my 55k word goal, or maybe it’ll be shorter. I don’t know at the moment, but there’s still a lot of story to tell.

Rainy Days: Drizzle…

Thursday I worked on doing my 1,000 words in book two of Rain’s and Yuki’s trilogy, skipping the 500 words in Elly of Ellyville due to writing late. I was playing the new call of Cthulhu game instead.
Making up on what I missed on Thursday, I added 1k words to Elly of Ellyville to end my writing week at 4,000 words done in this story I had no plans to write. I also ended Rain’s and Yuki’s second book at 8,000 words done.
It doesn’t feel as if I wrote this much in this book already, but the word counts don’t lie.

Thoughts…

With Dyalessia Friends book one wrapped up earlier in the week, I put 2k words into book two of Rain’s trilogy. So, I ended my writing for Friday and for the week with about 2,300 words done. Now I need another eleven weeks to write the other 50,000+.

I’ve also been doing short scenes for something I have no idea what I’m going to do with, but this character won’t leave me alone, so it turns out I’m writing a superhero book. So far, I’ve written two scenes. One is 500 words, and the other is 600 words. Maybe I’ll try to use these to bring in people for my Patreon account, or maybe I’ll save them and turn them into a book.

I don’t know, but so far these scenes keep coming to me.

Patreon

Having thought about it on and off for a while, I created myself a Patreon page tonight to try to bring in an extra bit of income to help fund some of the other parts of writing my novels which I haven’t been able to do so far.

Anyhow, I’ve added a link to the Patreon page under my link drop down menu, and the same link can be found: Patreon.

I’m at the point in this next book where I’m wrapping up the few scenes I have left, and my editor/reader has gone through most of the book to fix my mistakes. My plan is still to release it over the weekend.

My usual two week update…

I’m moving along on this new book in Dyalessia Games. With the writing I’ve finished yesterday, (Friday), I hit my 29k out of 50k word count. Since I didn’t plan on releasing this book until mid-October, I haven’t fallen behind on hitting my goal.

After this book is wrapped up, my plan is to work on book two of Rain’s trilogy, which will finish off the year, or will be a book I’ll release early in January.

I’m also going to make a boxed set for the first three books of Bastet’s Daughters, which will be published early in October.

Update on current book.

On Friday I hit 18,000 words in the new book set in the world of Dyalessia Games. Technically this is book four in the series, but I’m thinking I might make these new novels a seperate series since I have plans to write more about the Alexandria, Bess, and Melody.

Anyhow, I’m still on target to have this new book finished in October. With the new words I plan to put towards it this week, I’ll hit the halfway point, or be close to the halfway point.
