With eight stories and seven short stories in the Bastet’s Daughters setting, I created a Cast of Characters. I posted it for those who might be interested in the information. I have more stories planned for this setting, so it was time to create the file.
Bastet’s Daughters: Acinonyx.
I hired an editor to improve the tenses in this book, knowing how much I struggle with them. There were other problems she noticed, so I fixed those errors.
Anyhow, the improved story has been published.

August 9th, 2020…
Virus update. We’ve reached 4,735 known cases and 288 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 212 new cases and 3 new deaths. This includes the totals from today.
Book news. This week I added 4,082 words to the fourth story for Crimson Rose. I have ten days left of writing before it’s finished. This was another week where I’ve felt horrible, so I struggled on writing. However, I’ll finish this story before my September deadline. I’m publishing Ellyville’s story tonight. I plan to work on the edits for Acinonyx throughout the week and published the improved version next Sunday. (Sunday’s are my release days. Grins.)
Once Ellyville’s third story is live, I’ll send out my newsletter for August. (I’m thinking I’ll schedule these for Mondays)
I uploaded my twenty-ninth writing video on my YouTube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I’m not sure what video game clip I’ll upload, but I’ll have something. Might be one from the collection I have for Borderlands 3.
Gaming news. I’ve finished the main quest in Sword Art Online. Taking a break from this game. It had so many cut scenes and gathering quests which annoyed me. I plan to play Diablo 3 until the Pathfinder RPG video game comes out for the console in a weekish. I’ve waited for this game for a year, although it’s been on the PC.
I returned to my dragon puzzle! Yay!
Reading for the week. The cover images are posted on Pinterest. I’m rereading the Dresden Files, so they’re on my list for a while.
1) Give Me Thorns by Elizabeth Andre.
2) Storm Front by Jim Butcher is book one of his Dresden Files series.
3) Fool Moon by Jim Butcher is book two of his Dresden Files series.
4) Grave Peril by Jim Butcher is book three of his Dresden Files series.
5) Summer Knight by Jim Butcher is book four of his Dresden Files series.
6) Death Masks by Jim Butcher is book five of his Dresden Files series.
August 2nd, 2020…
Virus update. We’ve reached 4,523 known cases and 285 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 149 new cases and 2 new deaths. This doesn’t include the totals from today since they haven’t been posted yet.
Book news. This week I added 5,650 words to the fourth story for Crimson Rose. I have fourteen days left of writing before it’s finished. However, the characters gave me a list of the stories they want written next, so I appears I have my orders for what remains of this year and into next year. Grins. I should have Ellyville’s third book, my mailing list short story, and Bastet’s Daughters: Acinonyx back on Wendesday the 5th. I’ll go through the edits, and update Acinonyx and publish Ellyville’s third story next Sunday.
Next week I’ll send out my mailing list post for August.
I uploaded my twenty-eighth writing video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I plan to upload another clip for Sword Art Online’s newest game.
Gaming news. More Sword Art Online. So much of it. I’m close to reaching the ending. I’ve reached chapter five of six. Still many side quests to do and these named boss fights.
No new work on my puzzle. However, I finished my Lego set from my birthday, which was last week. I posted the pictures on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

July 26th, 2020…
Virus update. We’ve reached 4,374 known cases and 283 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 189 new cases and 4 new deaths. This includes the totals from last Sunday till this one. The news updated early.
This week has been rough. I’ve felt horrible all week. My incision, kidneys, and other body parts are aching. I managed to get my words done, but it took everything I had.
Book news. I finished Cleo’s new 10k short story. This week I added 4,400 words to it. I’ve self edited, printed, and gave to my reader. This short will be sent to the editor in August. Monday I return to Crimson Rose. May’s excited about it. Grins.
After thinking about my mailing list, I decided to change it to monthly. Finding a topic each week turned into a struggle. So, my plan is to send an update each time I have a new release, which means the newsletter should go out on the second week of the month.
I uploaded my twenty-seventh writing video on my Youtube channel.
I’m enjoying it, but the gathering quests are annoying. I’ve put 100 hours into it so far. I still have two chapters to go, according to the achievements. Plus a ton of side quests/monsters to fight. There’s a lot to do in this game!
No new work on my puzzle.

July 19th, 2020…
Virus update. We’ve reached 4,185 known cases and 279 dead, according to updates posted yesterday. This means since last week we’ve had 221 new cases and 2 new deaths. I don’t have the updates for Sunday, so I’ll include them next week.
Book news. I’m working on Cleo’s new 10k short story. This week I added 5,600 words to it. So, I overwrote it by 600. I’ll finish it this coming week.
I uploaded my twenty-sixth writing video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more. I’ve also been uploading gaming clips. Most are ten to twenty minutes long. On Wednesday I plan to upload one for Sword Art Online’s newest game.
Gaming news. Sword Art Online. So much of it. I’m enjoying it, but the gathering quests are annoying. Finding thirty stones is boring. Grins. Otherwise, interesting story. There’s a lot to do in this game, which is nice. I took a new picture for my dragon puzzle and posted it on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
