May 3rd, 2020…

Another virus update before I get to my book info, gaming, and reading. We’ve reached 1,530+ known cases and 127 dead, according to updates posted today. Venturing to the store this week was quick, and we handled it early in the week. I don’t recall what items were not on the shelves, but there were some. Sigh.

Having finished the paid edits for Bess’ and Mira’s story, I’m releasing it a week early. I plan to publish it later tonight.

I finished the forth short story for Cleo and Petra. Did the self edits. Gave to reader. Corrected the errors she noticed.

Some sad news. My paid editor emailed me last night, saying she dropped me as a client due to her schedule being busy with life, virus, and over-committing herself. So, I’m trying to find a new proofreader/editor. If not, I’m still releasing my stories from June onward, but they’ll be the usual self-edited using software and having the reader look them over.

I uploaded my fifteenth video on my Youtube channel. As usual, I talk about the same things I do here but maybe more.

Gaming news. I’ve been playing Warcraft again. Needed to do something different. I was tired of my console games. Also, the new trailer for Assassin’s Creed came out this week. Looks awesome. I started a new puzzle. Pictures are forthcoming.

Reading for the week:

1) Waking Emily by S. Hawk is book three of his Pet series.
2) Healing Emily by S. Hawk is book four of his Pet series.
3) The Last Place You Look by Aurora Rey.
4) Unleashed: Case of the Dalmatian Salvation by Erik Schubach is book ten of his Unleashed series.
5) Bitter Wind by Niall Teasdale is book two of his Death’s Handmaiden series.
6) Inked With a Kiss by Jennie Davids is book two of her Thorn & Thistle series.

April 26th, 2020…

Another virus update before I get to my book info, gaming, and reading. We’ve reached 1,200+ known cases and 106 dead, according to updates posted today. I don’t have much news about venturing out, beyond going to the grocery store. Many items are still hard to find. Last week we went to four stores for soy milk, couldn’t find any. In the end, we had to visit a small grocery store which had some. We’re still three weeks from ending the lock down in New York State. I don’t know if it’ll be extended.

I’m halfway through the paid edits for Bess’ and Mira’s story. It’s on schedule for a May 10th release.

I added 5,156 words to the forth short story for Cleo and Petra. I should finish it this week. After, I’ll working on the new short for Crimson Rose. Also, I plan on working on a longer novel. It’ll be my August release. I need covers made for all three of these. Might have to speak with my artist. Grins.

I uploaded my fourteenth video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. I’ve finished my play through with Amara. The second download content was interesting. It has a creepy Lovecraft vibe to it. One boss annoyed me so much. His shields, immunity, jumping onto platforms, and the deaths was frustrating. Worst boss! Anyhow, I’m taking a break from Borderlands. Might returned to Diablo or cell phone games until Sword Art Online releases in May. As for my puzzle, I finished it. I have pictures on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Reading for the week:

1) Those Who Wait by Haley Cass. This is a debut novel, as far as I can tell.
2) Flavor of the Month by Georgia Beers.
3) Every Slow Song by Erica Lee.
4) Live This Love by Jamey Moody.
5) Pet by S. Hawk is book one of his Pet series.
6) Grooming Emily by S. Hawk is book two of his Pet series.

April 19th, 2020.

Virus update before I get to my book info, gaming, and reading. In my county, there’s now 1000+ cases compared to the 700+ from last week. We’ve had seventy-one people die. Trader Joe’s now makes you wait outside because only a certain amount of people are allowed in and you must have a mask. Other stores are asking people to wear masks, but it’s not enforced. It should be enforced, but meh. Our stay at home has been extended to May 13th.

I finished Bess’ and Mira’s story on Wednesday. Completed the self edits. Gave to my reader. Corrected the errors she noticed. Sent to paid editor. I’m waiting for it to be returned. I plan for a May 10th release.

After finishing their story, I took two days off from writing. Tomorrow I plan to delve into the next two short stories. I need nine days of 1k words to finish part four of Cleo and Petra’s. I might do 500 words in part three of Crimson Rose. Otherwise, I’ll move it to my 1k words slot and get it done in twenty days. I think I’m going to return to Ellyville and write book three to finish the trilogy. It’ll give me a bundle also since I don’t have any for this year.

I uploaded my thirteenth video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. I’ve finished my play through with Amara. Right now, I’m almost done with the casino. I’m eager to see the other download content with her. Once done, I plan to return to Fl4k. I lost myself in playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake. What a beautiful game, graphic wise. And the story was excellent. As for my puzzle, I’m almost done! Might start a new one next week. I have pictures on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Reading for the week:

1)Wild Hearts by Bridget Essex.
2) Good Composition by Lily Seabrooke.

April 12th, 2020…

Last week I mentioned what’s happening in New York. In my county, there’s now 700+ cases compared to the 500+ from last week. We’ve had fifty people die. I went to a grocery store yesterday for a few things. Most of the same things which have been gone for a month are still not on the shelves. Our county officials say we have another six to ten weeks of dealing with the virus. Watching the numbers rise across New York State is hard to deal with. Sigh.

Bess’ and Mira’s story is coming along. I’ve reached 37,000+ words in it. I’m working on the self editing and giving the printed pages to my reader. I’d like to finish this story around mid-week so I can send it to the paid editor to tighten it up. As for the word count this week, I added 5,465 words.

I added 405 words to Cleo’s and Petra’s forth short story. I plan to move this into my 1k word slot later this week or next. It’ll take me nine days to reach the word count goal.

I uploaded my twelfth video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. I’ve been playing Amara to finish another play through. I’m near the end of the main story, which means I can play the download content soon. I’ve been playing Animal Crossing. My island is coming along. Final Fantasy VII remake has been ordered and it should arrive later this week. I haven’t had a lot of time to work on my jigsaw puzzle, but I squeezed in time to do so at night. I’ll keep posting new pictures on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Reading for the week:

1) Two Hearts Forever by Harper Bliss is the third short story of her Two Hearts trilogy.
2) The Opposite of You by Sienna Waters.

April 5th, 2020…

Wow, April already? Huh. March went quick.

Last week I mentioned what’s happening in New York. In my county, there’s now 500+ cases compared to the 200+ from last week. We’ve had nineteen people die. Down state is worse. Sigh. I went to a grocery store before writing this. It’s been a month since this spread around here. TP is gone. Cheese is gone. Baking supplies is gone. Soup is gone. Noodles is almost gone. Rice is gone. It’s still anxiety inducing to go a store. Argh.

Bess’ and Mira’s story is coming along. I’ve reached 31,900 words in it. I plan to add another 8,000 to 9,000. I’m still ahead of my schedule. As for the word count this week, I added 5,520 words. I have a cover for it, so yay! I should finish this story in about a week or week and half.

I plan to return to my other stories in April… if things work out. I’ll have to see.

I uploaded my eleventh video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. Since they released a new level limit cap and the second download content, I’ve been playing Amara again. I’m getting through the current play through before returning to the download content. In the morning, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing. My jigsaw puzzle is coming along. I keep posting new pictures of it on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Reading for the week:

1) Shatter the Earth by Karen Chance is book ten of her Cassandra Palmer series.
2) Worldship Files: Cityships by Erik Schubach is book three of his Worldship Files series. 3) Colour Her by Emmy Engberts is book three of her Flowers and Keyboards series.
4) A bunch of short erotica. Not posted. To many. Grins.

March 29th, 2020…

Sunday means another writing update.

Last week I mentioned what’s happening in New York. There’s now 200+ cases compared to the 100 from last week. We’ve had our sixth death today. If you’re not aware of what’s happening around NYC, well… it’s a mess. Sigh. April is going to be the month when things turn worse. We’re about two weeks from reaching peak, so I’m concerned how bad its going to be upstate.

Bess’ and Mira’s story is coming along. I’ve reached 26,000 words in it. I plan to add another 15,000 to 20,000. I’m still ahead of my schedule. As for the word count this week, I added 5,600 words.

I plan to return to my other stories in April… if things work out. I’ll have to see.

I uploaded my tenth video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. Since they released a new level limit cap and the second download content, I’ve been playing Amara again. I’m going to return to playing Fl4k soon. I gave in and ordered Animal Crossing, which should arrive this upcoming week. I started another jigsaw puzzle and been posting pictures of it on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.

March 22nd, 2020…

Another weekend.

Its time. I need to add something about the situation in New York. I know things in NYC are not going well, but the spread upstate continues. We might reach 100 cases tomorrow. 300 are in isolation. Groceries stores are still sold out of rice, noodles, soap, and many other items. This has been going on for two or three weeks now. Sure, these items are restricted to one per person, but the shelves are still empty. I know, I went to the store before posting this. Yesterday, I went to BJ’s and the same items are gone.

As for book news. I’m at 20k words in Bess’ and Mira’s new story. I added 5,400 words to it this week. I have the rest of the month and April to finish it. I’m thinking I’ll be done mid-April.

I plan on working on part four of Cleo & Petra’s story. And part three of Crimson Rose. As for the next novel, I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll return to Ellyville to write book three, which means I can make a trilogy. Or work on part two of Acinonyx. I’ll figure it out. I have the suggested edits for part two of Crimson Rose, which I plan on going through this week or delving into next weekend.

I uploaded my ninth video on my Youtube channel. Most of what I talked about on there is the same as what I did here.

Gaming news. Borderlands 3. I’m still playing Fl4k. I’m finished with the first play through. I also played more of Diablo 3. I started another jigsaw puzzle this week.
