April 18th, 2021…

Virus update. We’ve reached 59,842 known cases and 1,223 dead. This means since last week we’ve had 1,637 new cases and 13 deaths. This includes the totals from today.

Book news. I finished Samantha’s second 10k story for Bastet’s Daughters. Self edited it and gave it to the reader. It’ll be sent to the editor soon for it’s June release. She has Melody & Sarah’s story. The cover artist finished the cover, and I sent it to those on my mailing list. They get first sight of them as a perk. This week I’ll start story six of Crimson Rose, and the serial idea I have for Amazon Vella.

I’ve written 80,900ish words this year towards my 280,000ish goal. I’ll have to revise this because of Vella. I’m thinking I’ll add a separate section to keep track of my Vella word count.

Amazon Vella.

After hearing the news about this new idea from Amazon, I’m pondering added it to my writing. 600 to 5k words isn’t a lot for me to write, I can do it in a week. I’ve had short stories I haven’t worked on because I didn’t feel the cost to have them edited, covers made, etc, was worth it. This changes everything. I spoke to the editor about these stories, and I’ll see what happens.

Book news. I published book five of Crimson Rose. I’m waiting for Amazon to do its thing. Editor has Melody & Sarah’s story. Cover artist is working on the cover. I’m halfway through Samantha’s second 10k short story. I should finish it this week or early the week after.
