Where did the last month go already? I can’t believe we’re a month into this year!

Let’s see. So far I’ve hit 22,000 words in Alex’s and Christie’s book two of Dylaessia Games. With the writing I’ll do over the upcoming week, I’ll hit the halfway point for this book. It doesn’t feel like I’ve worked on this book for about five or six weeks.

Elly’s Tales book one is coming along. I’m still not sure if I’ll hit my 50k to 60k on this book, but I’ll find out when I think the book is finished. At the moment, I’m at 43,000.

Anyhow, this is all I have to say for this weekend, so I’ll return next week with another writing update.

It’s another weekend, which means time for an update. So far I’ve hit 16k words in Alex & Christie’s book two. I’m ahead on my word count for this book by 1k words, which is nice to know!

Elly’s Tale’s book one is coming along. I’ve hit 41k words on this, and I think I know where the rest of the book is heading. The one thing I’m not sure of is if I’ll hit the 55k word goal on this book. I’ll have to see what happens over the next few weeks.

I also realize I made a mistake on my 500 word a day schedule,  so I fixed this error. I thought Elly’s Tales book one would come out in about two weeks, but I was wrong.

All right, I have nothing further to say for this status update. I’ll be back next week for another update!

The weekend is here which means another update on my writing status.

Dyalessia Games: Alex & Christie 2.0 is coming along. I’ve hit about 11,000 words out of the 55,000+ I’d like my books to have from now on. So, this book is going well.

Elly’s Stories/Tales: Elly of Ellyville is at 37,000 out of the same 55,000+. I also talked with the cover artist who created a few covers for my other books. She told me she might have a few covers ready by Sunday or Monday for me to look over.

All right. This is all I have for this week’s update. Books are being written, and I’m on schedule for the release dates I want for these two new books.

It’s the weekend again, so I’ve put in my word counts for the week.

I’ve started Alex and Christie’s second book for Dyalessia Games. It’s been a year and a half since I published the first book with these characters, and now I have new ideas for where to take their relationship. So far I’ve hit 5,200 words out of the 55k words I’d like this book to have. This time I’m going to try to make the book longer compared to the first one.

When I wrote this first book, I didn’t know as much as I do now about writing a book and self publishing. Over the last year and half, I’ve learned from my mistakes, and I feel I write better books.

Anyhow, Alex and Christie 2.0 won’t be out until the end of March.

Ellyville is coming along still. I’m at 34k into this story, and still plugging along with my 500 word a day goal. If things continue the way they should, I’ll have this book finished around February 8th.

Amazon is working quick tonight, so book is live!

This is my first update for 2019.

Okay, I finished Rainy Days: Drizzle. I plan on getting it up on Amazon tomorrow (Sunday) night. I pushed about five thousand words out on Thursday and Friday to write the last few chapters. Edited everything. Sent to my reader for corrections. Later today or tomorrow I’ll write the summary.

Rainy Days: Drizzle is also the longest book I’ve written so far. It comes in at 60k words.

Ellyville is coming along still. I’m at 31k words, so I’m thinking this book will reach the 50k to 60k mark all of my current books reach.

All right. This is all I have to say for this week. On Monday, I’ll return to Alex, Christie, and the others from Dyalessia Games book one or from the other books in Dyalessia Games. Alex and Christie have been talking to me, and it’s been a year and a half since I finished my first book so it’s time for them to return for a second book.

All right. I hit 52,000 words this week in Rainy Days: Drizzle. I hope to finish this book next week. So far, about 75% of it has been edited and given to my reader to look over. I think it is also time to add the book’s cover to my website, which I plan on doing later today.

Ellyville is still moving along. I hit 28,000 words done on this story. I’m still not sure if I’m going to hit the 50,000 words on it or not, but I’m working on writing this first part of the story still and I’ll see what the word count ends up being.

Anyhow, this is everything for this week. Maybe by next weekend my update will include the release of Rainy Days: Drizzle.

Another week has gone by, which means I need to write my weekly status update.

Rainy Days: Drizzle, or book two of the trilogy, is getting closer to being finished. I’m at 47,000 words out the 55,000+ I’d like this book to have. I’ve also bought the cover, but I’m not going to reveal it until next week. However, I did post it early on my Patreon page. With most of this book written, I might work on editing over the weekend.

Elly of Ellyville is still coming along. I’ve hit 25,000 words in this book. So far, I still have ideas on what I want to include in this book, so I don’t see myself finishing it any time soon. I’m okay with this, since I’d like to have a higher word count.

It is another Saturday, which means time to write my weekly post on where I am in the two books I’m writing.

Rainy Days: Drizzle is coming along, and I’m still on my goal to wrap up my writing around the end of the month or early in January. This week I hit 41,000 words out of the 55,000 I set at my goal.

Elly of Ellyville is also coming along, and I have a few new ideas about what I want to include in this book, which means I may hit the 55,000 word count in this book. I’ll have to see once these other ideas are written, and once I finish the main plot I want to write about for this book. At the moment, I hit 22,000 words in this book so far.

It’s a week later since I wrote my update from last week. I don’t have much to say this week, beyond posting the word count goals I hit this week.

Rainy Days: Drizzle, or book two, is coming along. I’ve hit 36,000 words in this new book, which means I hit my 5k goal for the week. I’m happy because all the extra words I’ve added while writing this book pushed my word limit goal over by 1k.

I’ve hit 19k words in Elly of Ellyville. So, this book is getting close to being half written, if I stick with my 55k words I try hit with each of my books from now on. I’m still not sure if this book will be this long, but I’ll find out. When the book feels done, I’ll end it.
